Debra Williams
Debra graduated from the University of Surrey, Guildford in 1993 with a BSc (Hons) Degree in Nutrition and State Registration in Dietetics.
Since then her career has included working as a Dietitian both in private industry and the NHS. Debra also worked for a number of years in clinical research in the pharmaceutical industry on many high profile studies. Within the NHS Debra has worked mainly as a Community Dietitian. Particular interests are weight management and Diabetes.
Debra joined the South West Bariatric Group in February 2009 as a Bariatric Dietitian and since then has been enjoying learning more about the field of Bariatrics. The SW Bariatric Group offers a very personal approach to their clients and Debra feels this combined with expertise from a multidisciplinary team is very important in the overall service offered to clients.
