Nicky Green
Nicky trained at Charing Cross Hospital, London and gained her Registered Nurse qualification in 1985. Since then she has a variety of nursing roles, mainly within surgery, and this has included ICU/CCU and being a surgical ward sister for 5 years. She is also a qualified Infection Control Nurse and has an Asthma Diploma as well as an Advanced Diploma in Nursing Studies.
Nicky has been working within the field of Bariatric surgery since 2007 and formally joined Southwest Bariatric Surgery Group in January 2010. She recently was awarded a Royal College of Nursing Travel Scholarship and used this to visit a Centre of Excellence in the USA and to sit, and successfully obtain, her Certified Bariatric Nurse qualification. She also has an Open University qualification in Obesity Science.
