Gastric Band Pricing & Finance

We offer a comprehensive gastric band treatment package, covering your pre-op assessment, surgery, hospital stay and lifetime follow-up care afterwards.

Our package prices for gastric band surgery are as follows:

• BMI less than 49kg/m2 - £7,500
• BMI 49 - 60kg/m2 (or you are considered to be a ‘high risk’ patient for other medical reasons) - £8,000

The gastric band surgery packages include:

• Pre-op assessment with surgeon, anaesthetist and dietitian
• Consultation with psychologist (optional)
• Surgery fees and hospital costs
• Regular appointments with the team during your first two years post-op with no limit on the number of appointments (or the number of band adjustments)
• One annual appointment thereafter (which may include a band adjustment as appropriate)
• Any complications that are evident within the first six months of your surgery

Charges are made for elective band adjustments (i.e. for reasons other than weight loss or to correct adjustments made by other parties).

A deposit is payable at the time of your assessment appointments and the balance due one week prior to your admission for surgery. Payment for your treatment package is required, in full, prior to surgery – we accept cash, cheques, bank transfers and all major credit and debit cards.

Gastric Band Extended Warranty

Unfortunately it is well known that some people (approximately 1:10) will encounter a minor or major problem with their gastric band that will require them undergoing further surgery. If you would like to have the peace of mind that anything that does arise can be treated rapidly within the private service setting, we now offer an extended warranty for gastric band patient. This covers the period from 6 months to two years post-op. If your BMI at the time of surgery is less than 49, the extended warranty is £1,000 or if your BMI is over 49 it is £1,500. It can also be extended annually after two years for £750.

Gastric Band Management and Rescue Services

We offer band management services to patients who have had their bands inserted elsewhere – either single appointments or a package of care. Please telephone us to obtain further details.
